What we do
Information 4 Disability provides current information on services available for anyone affected by various disabilities; physical, sensory, mental or intellectual disabilities. People accessing the service could have the disability themselves, or they could be caring for someone with a disability.
How we serve the community

Because we are located in Hawkes Bay, New Zealand, information is relevant, but not confined to this area. Information 4 Disability is a member of the New Zealand Federation of Disability Information Centres, so has access to information and services available throughout New Zealand. The information available includes where to buy and hire specialised equipment, support groups for specific disabilities, and accessible accommodation in the Napier/ Hastings region. |
The ‘Contacts for Disability Services' booklet provided by Information 4 Disability (linked above), provides a comprehensive and current listing of contacts in Hawkes Bay, for the purpose of finding out about disability services and support groups that cater to the needs of people with a disability. The Contacts for Disability Services booklet is available as a free PDF download, or a paper copy can be purchased on request for a minimal fee. |
